I don't understand what happened you guys. She was fine just a few hours ago Sad Happy, warbling, and munching away. My son found her, her eyes were wide open and she was stiff as could be. The same thing happened the other PetSmart budgie I got years ago from the same store. We buried her, for peace of mind for our son.

Condolences.
I think there's a lot of inbreeding of the "common" birds which might be causing health issues and premature death. I've had a lot of zebra finches over the years and they all seem to drop dead prematurely to me - generally have not made it to 10 years.
