PostSubject: Purchasing 2012 Calendars   Tue Nov 22, 2011 12:41 pm

Here's the deal through Vistaprint:
Option 1 - You buy one directly through Vistaprint.
Cost would be: $22.50 broken down as follows: $7.99 calendar+$4.99 photo upload fee+$9.52 shipping for US orders, not sure on Canadian orders

Option 2 - Send me money, we make a multiple calendar order.
Apprx. cost each calendar $13.50 US/$14.50 Canada broken down as follows: $35.99 (for 5)+$4.99 photo upload fee+$10.38 shipping+$3.00US/$4.00Canada postage for me to mail out to y'all.

So Option 2 is the most economical. I promise I'll actually mail these out to any who order. I understand you guys don't really "know" me. All I can do is give you assurance, Scout's Honor.

If you're interested in ordering through me, send me $13.50 per calendar if you're in the US; $14.50 if you're in Canada. Canada orders must be specified "In US Funds". Payment can be made either through Paypal to my email address: patdbunny@hotmail.com
Or snail mail. Email me for my address if you want to snail mail me a check.

BTW, I've never been a scout, so I guess Scouts Honor doesn't apply to me. You can always PM those on this forum who've ordered Aviator harnesses through me to verify that it worked out. Ha! Ha!

**NEED ALL ORDERS AND FULL PAYMENT BY 11/30 IN ORDER TO GET THE CALENDARS BY 12/15 FOR ME TO MAIL OUT.

Are you saying we all need to choose one or the other, or that each individual chooses and you'll bundle the orders that go to you into groups of 5? I'm happy to go the Paypal route personally.

Sorry that wasn't very clear.
For a group order, send me the money and I'll make a multiple calendar order and mail to y'all. I had input 5 calendars at VistaPrint as a hypothetical number and it projected out to $13.50US/$14.50 Canada for each calendar. You can order as many calendars as you want. It would be $13.50/$14.50 for each calendar if I send out.

For individual orders directly through VistaPrint you'd have to pay whatever VistaPrint's charging which starts at $22.50 each calendar, delivered through them.

This does not need to be a group decision. If one, some, or all of you want to buy directly from VistaPrint, then you can do so. If one, some, or all of you want to send me money to get the reduced multiple rate, then you can do so.

Is that more clear?

It's pretty clear.

Two questions:
1) How many calendars do we need to order to get the bulk/group rate
and
2) At any point does the price go down for larger orders?

Looks like for any order over 1 there's the savings of the upload fees as that's only charged once. When I input the hypo "5" the price of the calendar went down from $7.99 ea to $7.20 ea. Not real clear how VistaPrint tiers their discounts as they don't clearly indicate something like "10 for x price; 20 for x price".

Here's my thinking - If I can get at least 5 calendar orders, then the $13.50/$14.50 clearly covers it (PayPal takes a small percent of that from me). Any overage from you, the buyer, would be no more than about 10 cents. If we get a much large order, say 10+/20+ and the price ends up significantly reduced (25 cents or more), I was going to tuck the cash difference into your orders (there were a couple of overpayments on the Aviator harnesses and I just tucked the difference in when I shipped).

How does that sound for y'all?

OK, I'm having a dense day... If I want N calendars I should Paypal you N*13.50... if the price comes out to less than $13.50 each, then you issue a refund? Or do you prefer to take a list of Paypal buyers and then invoice us via Paypal? As a jewelry seller, I've used the Paypal invoicing process and it's pretty straightforward.

Sorry. I'm not willing to invoice.
I'd prefer if you'd just pay $13.50 x the number of calendars you want. If there's more than a 25 cent difference in the final outcome, I'll tuck the cash into the shipment.

EVERYONE - If you do paypal, EMAIL me also so confirm that it's hit my paypal account and to give me your mailing address.

I got mine today, and it looks GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm inspired to get some decent pictures of my guys for next year. I just wish they wouldn't stop doing whatever they were doing that was cute as soon as the camera comes out.

Oh, and Roz, LOL & too bad!

I always keep my iphone on me. So, whenever I see something cute going on, I just pop it out.

Sadly, the quality of pictures aren't the best. I do have a camera, but like what SnS said, by the time I get the camera out, they stop doing whatever they were doing.

I can't wait to get mine! I called my mom up and was all "Einstein's a celebrity!!".
