| Winner, winner, turkey dinner! A few years back, a Marine in SD county came out of his house and was chased by in by an attacking rooster that came out of nowhere! | |

| "Fowl Bird?" The only birds I've been run off by are geese. Canadian geese can be mean. But it is very interesting to watch their faces when you dump dry ice into their favorite fountain. It's amazing what grad students will do for entertainment... | |

| When EC was little, and I mean really little - she still had a binky - we were at the zoo and there was this goose that was really, really mean to little kids. I'm respectful to birds that are protecting their nests and what not, but this goose was far away from any nest and just chasing kids down and biting them. I think it had learned kids squeak. I told EC to stand her ground and get ready . . . steady . . . PUNT! She was way too small to hurt the goose, but made him think twice about chasing the next kid. | |

| And um... the closest I've ever come to being chased by a bird was when Tyler, the B&G macaw at work, was trying to get behind the counter to nest and I was in his way. He bit my foot. I "kicked" (nudged) him back to his tree. I don't do misbehaving birds anymore. | |

| When I was but a wee on still in diapers, the geese on my grandparent's farm must have thought that there was a delicious treat in my diaper, as they continually chased me trying to get it off.
I also had a friend with a kamikaze budgie. He dive-bombed you as soon as you opened the door, and would chase you if you dodged.... | |
