Preparing for a parrot Empty

This is pretty good.
http://parrotnation.com/2011/01/09/preparing-yourself-for-getting-a-bird/

For people who aren't 100% sure they want a conure, I've told them to give their kid a sports whistles and let them blow it 2xs a day, morning and evening, for at least 10-15 minutes each time, and sporadically here and there throughout the day. I tell them they can't get mad at the kid for doing it. I tell them, if in 2 weeks they still want a conure to call me. I've never gotten a return call.

But on the other hand, if every person read that and see pictures(visual works better), on how it will be after, maybe some % of not responsible people will not buy parrot.
