In case you guys have any "Morning Song" or "Country Pride" wild bird seed around, throw it out.

Yeah! Right?! I've been guilty of "in a pinch" buying their damn product to tie me over a few days until I could get to the regular place i get bird food or waiting for an order to be delivered.

I've been known to feed the wild birds, and I certainly didn't have the intent of doing them in. Maybe they are in cahoots with Tom Lehrer?

When I first moved out here to the sticks, I was feeding the wild birds. After a couple of months I realized I was spending more money on the wild bird seed than on food for all my birds. I was buying about 150# of wild bird food a week. I about fainted when I realized how much I was buying. Although, if I could afford it I'd keep doing it. Gorgeous migratory birds coming through. They still come through, just not in the mass quantities as the first year I was here and feeding them a truck load. Now they just get whatever's left over from my birds.

Singing Poisoning pigeons in the park . . . Singing

We do the same here, we feed birds and forest animals with leftovers, often what my bf brings left from his bakery.
