| So, it looks as if we are going to have a little piece of land. It's not a big piece of land, only 1.25 acres, but it is zoned for two horses if we want, and I've seen goats in the neighborhood. I think the zoning is light agriculture, but it may be a special equestrian development zoning. So... I'm thinking maybe set up to retire my horse? Maybe get chickens? Maybe.... WWYD? Attached is an aerial view of the property. It follows the fence lines back to the dirt road at the bottom of the image. The scrubby section in the middle is fairly steep -- a person can climb down it, but for a horse to walk down it, it would take grading a diagonal path. There is alternate access by walking down the block, turning right and coming in via the paved path. The parking pad has to stay intact for fire department access, but as long as we provide drive-through gates we can otherwise do what we want with it. | |

| I look at this, and - after shoving my envy aside - I see a giant ... SWIMMING POOL!
...Maybe that's just because I'm from Winnipeg. And pools are awesome.

| Some of the neighbors do have enormous water features!
We're having some escrow bumps and curves today, so I'm feeling a little less vested now than I did this morning. My husband is tearing his hair out, I'm just waiting to see what happens. Our house appraised a little low and the buyers could panic, but their agent is appealing the appraisal (the comps used weren't true comps). And we heard that the septic inspector at the new property COULD NOT FIND the leach lines and seepage pit. He's going back with a camera.
