PostSubject: G'Day    G'Day EmptyMon Apr 30, 2012 4:53 pm

Hi, my name is Danielle and I am a birdaholic!
We hail from beautiful Sydney australia. I have 3 human children (all girls) 1 feathered baby (apples the pineapple GCC) and 2 furry monsters - a malamute and a husky. Apples is our first hand raised parrot (I have had budgies as a child, and we had a peach face when the girls were babies who got out of her cage somehow(little hands methinks) and flew away.
Apples was a Xmas gift for my 13 yr old daughter but has kind of become my baby. My husband calls me crazy bird lady (hence the name) as I am totally enamoured by her!

You will have to compete much harder to get the Crazy Bird Lady title in this crowd, LOL! How about a few more feathered monsters?

Welcome!!

Welcome to Paradise Danielle and Apples! Crazy is a pre-requisite just to be here. Some of us have advanced well beyond this level! But it is a great start! The more the merrier!

Ahhh! Welcome fellow nutty one!

And I concur with my fellow Paradisian residents... You may be walking the "Slightly Kooky" line around here but you're nowhere CLOSE to reaching Crazy Bird Lady status!!! You've got to WORK for that title young lady!

Not so many Galahs Kelly but lots of sulphur crested cockatoos and rainbow lorikeets and rosellas. The cocky's take great delight in teasing the crap out of my puppies which makes me laugh Laughing

Ahh, all the wild parrots would drive our youngest pup, Fynn, CRAZY!

He's fine with indoor birds, but anything moving outside is free game!

I'd love to be able to see wild parrots outside in the wild. It must be so much fun!

Or Pasadena on occasion, the flocks move around a lot!

But I think a flock of 'toos would be something to see for sure.

Oh my god, the cocky's are like gangs of misled youth. They make me laugh the way they hang out around shopping centre rubbish bins in groups of up to 10. Sometimes I think they need little leather jackets and a smoke hanging out their beaks!

Welcome having just gotten the 2 turkeys that brought me to 80 birds in total...I think I am sort of ahead of you in line for the "crazy" title. We will be thrilled to help you got to that level though. G'Day 3437489089
