| Hello! My name is Audrey and I own four amazing birds  I haven't had them for too long, but somehow I managed to get 4 birds in the last 4 months! I got Articuno , and after we had her for a couple month, I adopted Victor (he only has one leg). They are now madly in love and give each other long bed time neck scratches and coo at each other all day. About a couple weeks ago we got Loki, a yellow sided green cheek, and he's our best friend! He loves to cuddle, go to Home Depot and the pet store, loves getting scratched, and hates being alone. About a week after we got Loki, a lady from my old church contacted me about taking care of her African Grey, KC. He's about 17, and his old owner had terminal lung cancer and couldn't take care of him anymore. The lady from my church told me he was very nippy and didn't like being handled too much, but in just the DAY I've had him, he's wanted to be on my shoulder the whole time, hasn't even thought about nipping, and won't stop singing to me.. I guess he likes me! Anyways, thank you guys for having this site (I've been coming here for advice, but just now signed up) and I look forward to the years to come with my lovely children! P.S. | Welcome. I don't think you are going to have this trouble, but sometimes a new bird goes through a 'honeymoon' period before thier true personalities show up. I feel since KC has taken to you so much,you may not have that problem, but be aware of the possiblity.
Your Keets are adorable. And Loki is a conure so he is something else! LOL
I also have a conure and a Grey, but have a Tiel iwth them, no keets LOL. | |

| Thanks everyone! I do admit, I did get bit by the bug pretty bad! But I promise I'm stopping now! They're all sweethearts though. Loki really loves to cuddle ALL the time and is always playing with my hair and cleaning my husband's nails. KC (the new one) is preening my husband right now I think he's a little confused about the new surroundings but I think the lady that had him before me left him alone a lot so he's pretty starved for attention. He rambles A LOT and I can't really understand him except for when I gave him a nut yesterday and he finished it and said, "Satisfactory!" | |

| Loki the conure is REALLY interested in KC the grey, but when they get too close they do their aggressive stances so I always have one out at a time or if my husband's out I have KC and he has Loki. | |

| Welcome to you and your flock! Loki is so cute! Love the little conures. As for KC, I agree with BratBirds so just be careful and try to avoid letting him sit on your shoulder. Greys are notorious for their bipolar moods and I would hate to have him be that close to your face if he were to become aggitated.
They are all adorable though and you've come to the right place for ideas and advice where needed. | |
