| Hey guys, it's Julie here (eg., CheekyAndMalolo from the other forum). I'm sure most of you don't need to hear all about my birds again, but I'll tell anyway for people who I may not know. I'm Julie, 21, from Victoria, Australia. I have 6 birds and a horse; Tim (Red Wing Parrot), Prince (Princess Parrot), Malolo and Chicken (Tiels), Aurora (Yellow Sided GCC) & o'Tika (Pineapple GCC). Oh and horse is a 13yr old TB gelding named Sahara. | |

| Not Tiel's, Cockatoos! Of the Sulphur Crested variety, hundreds of Tiel's would be amazing tho!
Richard, I'll be sure to find Hannah and find a way to talk to her.

| Welcome!!! I didn't realize you had such a big flock, that sounds like such a fun family And there's a few of us on here who have horses, too. Funny how those two go together, such an unlikely pair And I've alwayed looooved loved loved Australia. Ever since I was little. I couldn't even tell you why. Rescuers Down Under, I guess. I'm just fascinated with the place. I wrote research papers on it, memorized the capitals... everything. I was even registered to go do a semester abroad up in Cairns when I was in school, but a few things came up in my life at the time that kept it from happening. One, day, though... I can't wait | |

Saweet!!! My hubby and I were both baristas and yes, friends don't let friends drink Starbucks... bleh. It's been a dream of mine for forever, coffee and art in the same place, it's gonna be awesome, haha. >>Staccato<< - Julsiebean wrote:

| It has always been my dream to open a coffeeshop and book nook. I wish I had a money tree. I just turned down a pineapple conure from my breeder, and a blue quaker. I wanted them both so freakin' bad I am still in agony over declining them. |

Welcome to the loony bin!
Is you Prince tame? Just wondering what a tame princess parrot is like from an actual owner's experience.

| Welcome to the funny farm! A few of us didn't get banned and are still somewhat active. I'm feeling a little "looser" over here (I think they may want to send me back...)
I'm another horse person as is Roz (patdbunny). In fact I know WAY more about horses than birds, but I'm working on it.
Lyz, LOL on the spelling. When I was in Spain I worked with an older British professor type on some things and he used to love to tease me. He'd read a document draft and look at me over his glasses, pointing, "What is THIS? This isn't English... it must be AMERICAN". Too funny.

| Oh wow, woke up to lots of replies! Richard: I've emailed Hannahbird with your email and a link for this website. Roz: Yes Prince is tame/handreared, but he doesn't care for people all that much, every now and then he'll come and find you and steal your dinner or beg for kisses, but he spends most of his time being a brat and bullying the Tiels (he pulls their tails). I'm a bit surprised that you guys are so keen on Australia, we've got horrible weather (pretty much been winter since december) and our prime minister is a bogan, BUT any of you ever come to Aus then we have to meet up | |

| Just got back from out of town, good to have you here Julie! SnS, no way are we sending you back! You're the only one keeping most of this lot grounded in reality Lyz, us Canadians, being a Commonwealth country, still spell colour and Neighbour and behaviour and all the other British spellings. Spellcheck sometimes gets annoying | |
