My little shih tzu, Stewie, sleeps with me every night.
Yesterday morning, when I woke up Stewie to go outside, I decided to pick him up and ask him to say good morning to Einstein. Because I'm a crazy animal lady who decides to do things like that.
Anyways, Einstein got really happy, and put his beak through the bars, as he would with me, and gave him a kiss (didn't touch the dog, but was directed at him).
This morning, I decided to see if he would do it again, and this time he told Stewie "Your a good boy!" before laying one on him.
It was so sweet. Reminds me of Marnie the IRN:
I've gotta get a video of it.

What a happy, well adjusted IRN. Is Stewie going to make the big move too?

I wish!
He's a "family dog".
Even though he's mine.
In his little dog world, I'm his Alpha. He respects me the most out of all the family members.
Not only that, but we are best buds. He follows me around the house like a puppy dog (wait a minute...). As soon as I get home, he greats me, and thus starts his endless "Alyssa Love Fest".
Whenever I go into a another room where he can't follow (the bathroom, when I have the birds out) he curls up into a little ball and waits for me to come out.
Every night when I go to bed, no matter how hot it is, he insists on sleeping not only with me, but cuddled as close as possible to me.
I hate small dogs. And in my opinion, shih tzus are the ugliest, stupidest dog you could possibly get. But I love him to bits.

aww, that sounds too cute! I don't much like little dogs either but my friend has a chihuahua that has stolen my heart despite my best efforts. There's always an animal to prove you wrong, I suppose
I showed my dad that video and he says he wants an IRN now

Awesome Einstein Update!
He let me mist him for the first time!
We're in the middle of a heat wave, and I figured I might as well try to cool down Einstein (the budgies basically swim in their dish).
He took to it!
He opened his wings and I sprayed him all over. By the time we were down, he was a soaked rat!
