Lovebird! Hearing him belt out lovebird-ese is a riot! I mean, he is a scrappy little conure! He still sounds like a conure, he is just doing the rythem of of the lovebirds calling, does that make sense? It sounds so fast and urgent, it took me a while to realize what he was doing!!! Too funny! I wonder if Sparrow will begin speaking 'zon soon!

I have a suspicion that GCCs have an underrated propensity to pick up new "languages" and that the owners just don't often recognize it. Their human can be hard to parse.

Our boys talk like each other - except Stryder, the stubborn cockatiel.

So Rosco & Merlin both sound like Caiques, African Greys, and Cockatiels. It's awesome Wink

I am soooo insanely jealous... You're livin' the dream sister, livin' the dream...

Quakers, Conures, and a Toogie. Smile How much better could it get? I'll keep you posted on the Buckmeister... It'll be a little bit before things start happening around here, but they will.

^No problem, I will be happy to have him! My Juniper's eggs never hatched Sad No baby this time for me. I miss having a Quaker around.

Sparrow has started speaking fo realz here lately. At night only, when we have our sleepy quiet time cuddles. He says combos of Pretty Bird, Sparrow, Pretty Parrot, Kiss, etc. It was like an EXPLOSION of words, none- to several! It is still conure-y and I'm sure only I know what he is saying but he is still young and learning.

He floofs up next to my neck, sticks his beak in my ear and says "pretty pretty parrot"I love you I love you I love you
