| We've finally finished our chicken house, so on the weekend we got our first chicken. Well actually we got two, but one is there just as a friend until the breeder gets in the colour we'd like. We're gonna have two Silky x Polish Bantams and three Light Sussexes. Yay! Here is Silky x Polish #1: (She still needs a name btw ) And a few of their Taj Mahal-esk house: | |

| Wow what a chicken coop. Hope my wife doesn't see that, mine is pretty modest compared to that.We just started with chickens, bought some week old chicks a month ago and some eggs that just hatched this week,so i think we have 7 chickens now, they mostly hang out in the ouside aviary under the parrots but plan to move them outside as soon as their too big for the hawks and such. | |

| Hello Chooky. Aren't you all loving my awesome lip colour and face tatt? (I'd just like to say that I'm not trying to protect my identity, I'm covering the butt-ugly look on my face) P.s thinking of naming this hen either Harriet or Henrietta. Opinions? | |

| she's really tame. climbs into my lap for a cuddle and a scritch, she'll sit in my arms, while I walk around gardening, and rest her head up on my shoulder. When I first met her I had a hold of her and she started making little chicky noises while I scritched her neck. She went for a ride down the backyard (down some big steps too) in the wheel barrow today, I plopped her in it so I could keep an eye on her down the the bottom of the garden and she fluffed up and sat herself right down and didn't budge till I put her on the ground. I wouldn't let the other chicken on my shoulder, she'd probably gouge out an eye trying to get away from me!

| We have another chook now she's only a baby, still makes adorable little baby noises. I'm considering naming her Harriet, unless I can think of something better. | |

OMG! You are SO right! LMAO! BUT, I stand by my Seussian simile! (Are you impressed by my alliteration? How about my use of the word "simile" in the same sentence?) (Though, I just realized that what I initially thought was a simile is in fact, NOT a simile. Oh well, can't win 'em all! LOL!)

Thing 1 and Thing 2 We are Japanese if you please..... Just kidding They are pretty chickens. Now for the pond if your dad would like to vacation in Fl then he is mOST welcome to come and design a pond for me, a water feature is sorely needed in the front/side yard here I am very impressed with his awsomeness
