This is a love story of me and my Tinkerbell, a free flying Congo
African Grey parrot CAG , as we roamed about the mountains and forests
and cities of Taiwan. She loves to go riding with me on the motorbike as
she sit on a perch on the handle bar.

Later on shama Yingshiong joined me.

I was then in the Sultanate of Oman and taking care of Riamfada, a wild caught CAG who
was rescued and given as a frightened ball of grey into my care.

She learned to trust me and be friends.

Followed by Oberon, an Asian Fairy Bluebird who stayed with me to recover before returning to where he came from to find his Fairy Queen.

I know you have an amazing wealth of knowledge and I can't wait for us to begin to tap into it. I know there are others on our forum who are interested in having flighted birds. It seems that you have a lot of experience in that area we could learn from.

Vicki, what I know had been taught to me by Tinkerbell and my other birdies and beasties. But it was Tink who opened that third eye in my head. They had been the best teachers by far.

All of you also have good teachers by your side. You only need to treat them with the respect, courtesy and dignity due to intelligent sentients equal to yourself and what I have done can be done by you.

I will be writing more in the appropriate sections as this is an introduction.

Warm welcome to you and your fids! They are indeed beautiful. I have read some of your posts, looking forward to reading the rest, but I do agree about the infinite connection and thinking like them to know them. Sun Tzu was a brilliant thinker and his words hold true in their world and ours.

Good to see you here - it's a fun flock!

One word on the photos....WOW! amazing, always admire the amazing bird ability and connection some of you have with your greys to have them fly freely in such beautiful surroundings. I wish I could give Lorenzo that chance but the little bugger will just take off and fly back to Brazil to win over all the female conure hearts of the country and then slowly take over the world!
