| So I'm back home, and have some spending money in my pocket.
I felt like getting some new perches for the outside of the cages, for them to have a non-swinging place to sit. Normally, I'd buy supplies online, but I know that petsmart has a GREAT selection of inexpensive perches.
The brand is called "All Living Things". I normally buy their millet in this brand, because it is the cheapest. But, they also have a wide variety of different products.
Today, I bought 7 "All Living things" perches, and I spent very little money on them.
I bought Fir, Manzanita, Grapewood, Madrone, and Lima wood. Those are the only types of natural wood that the brand had available at my local petsmart, but who knows, they could have more.
I can say that buying these perches is a lot less expensive than buying from any online store.
I saved so much money, that I ended up buying a big bag of the premium seed mix, an additional two swings; A coconut hanging hut thing (which I will use as a millet holder) and a Manzanita swing, and I also bought a safety pumice perch.
Everything went better than I expected it to.
Right now the budgies are absolutely silent, all I can hear is the nawing of wood. | |

| PetSmart doesn't have much of a bird selection here at all, much less a selection of perches that nice. You're lucky to have that available to you like you do. | |

| I went in today and bought all their wacky perches > I am done all my birdie shopping. I swear. One thing about my local petsmart is that there is virtually nothing for birds bigger than conures. I need to upload some videos of the *updated* bird room. I don't want to toot my own horn, but *toot toot*!! I think it looks great. And the birds all LOVE it. Today, after I put up the new wacky perches, Einstein said "thank you". Now, that's probably just a coincidence, but I don't care | |
