| ....Toogie is packing some serious beak! She has never been rough or even remotely beak-y with me. She is as gentle as a lamb, honestly. Today though, she has been a little rowdy (lots of housework) so I have her a large unsalted/uncooked whole hazelnut. She rolled it around in her beak and cracked it open with zero effort, I may as well of given her a pat of butter. She happily ate her spoils, and went about her day. No false sense of security here! |

| Yeah... I've seen Sam do the same thing, and I wonder how my finger compares to a nutshell... | |

| Yeah I am sometimes surprised when Zada bites into something and breaks it in half. But then I remember how powerful her beak is O.O | |

| With Lucky, I'm never afraid of myself, but about the other fids. They are all in one aviary, and so far happy altogether. But what if one day he'll be in mating mood or something like that?
I saw him angry, and he never touched or tried to hurt birds. So far, I see him rather protecting rest of flock from us, but I can't be sure... I do know I'm taking a risk with that aviary. | |
