Had to go in for my annual bloodwork today. As usual it took them an hour to find a vein. The nurse stabbed me 7 times before she found one (I am used to it) and I laughed and said "Funny, I have a bird that can do that in one try"

That's a good one. You should ask if you can just bring your own blood sample next time and handle a bird beforehand!

I actually don't understand why they have such a problem. I do have deep veins but even I can feel them and know where to jab. I should tattoo little hash marks where they are located so they have direction. LOL

I have small veins. Surgery a few years back, the anesthesiologist poked me about 10 times before he got it.
Nurses out here poke twice. If they can't get it, they have someone else do it.
Ask for a filipino chick! They pone in the blood draw department!
