| 1) do GCCs just hit an age when each and every new taste is suddenly a fun event and must be explored(rather than terrifying and must be attacked ) ??? Until the other week Tika has refused to try anything but apples, and whatever Tika deems edible (or inedible) Rory will follow suit. Until recently when Tika showed an interest in a banana I was eating, she tried a piece and them ate half of it!! Yesterday she tried carrot for the first time, this was the result : We've had similar results from peas and corn, cucumber, pasta, ice, toast, broccoli, etc. pretty much she's tried a little of all the fruit ant veggies we've had, and going back for more. And whatever she eats, Rory MUST have some of, she holds it and he shares. It's definitely not related to us persisting with veggies cause darling OH won't even look at them for himself when I'm not here to put them on his plate it's as if she's suddenly decided to be a brave, grown up girl. 2) what would you add to this cage? It seems empty after it's clean and redecorate the other day. Ok scrap that 3) Tika and rory have learnt a new trick, they can now turn around which is a big accomplishment for them both, Tika cause it involves hands beig near her tail and we've discovered that hands 'under' her are not as scary as under her, and Rory because, well let's face it he's a little less smart then Tika, tricks are usually too hard or too boring, he confuses his wave with shake and usually responds with 'mmm step up' when asked to step up. It was cute and endearing the first few times, lucky he has no issue being grabbed. Tika was so cute when she did it for the very first time, she knew she'd done a trick, as soon as it was done she dropped her head for a scratch! Clever girl. | |

| I would add something shreddy, like balsa blocks. My GCC isn't super playful aside from acrobatics (maybe some rope?) and destroying balsa. |

| There's a basket toy that I'm gonna make and put in soon, bt I don't really want it at he bottom where it'll get pooed on. I just took a rope perch out cause it was fraying and gross, maybe I could put a platform perch in somehow. | |

| Yes, that last picture is completely adorable!
I'd add paper or balsa shreddy things and maybe another noise maker. Scooter uses his green bell ball like that one as a transit perch, FWIW. He also loves to pull a dangling plastic chain into his tent.

YES, everyone needs at least one of the little dears! I love that picture too!!! BTW, Einstein was the final straw in my deciding I had to have a 'tiel. Allie loves little stringy things with balsa and beads.... I don't know if that helps or not.
