| What the title says! Sparrow(GCC) came home today. He is 7 wks old. Not trained to step up.

| Some people use the target method. I personally used millet and pressed gently on their belly while saying "up". Once they were on my finger, they got the millet. We repeated dozens of times until they got it without the millet. | |

| I make an abrupt happy squeal, "STEP UP!!!?!" and then when they fall for the shock method, I praise with millet. | |

Congrats! Chico was trained to do that already, but with all the budgies I did the same method with millet as girls using words: "Step up". Good luck! | |
