| I swear Scooter does. It's not a very noisy purr, but sometimes when he's snuggling, he vibrates and makes a slight vibrating sound, not quite a trill and not quite a coo... | |

| I don't think all parrots purr, but our GCC definately do. Infact it's their most common noise | |

| Yes, even moreso if you have cats. Both our macaws do (Merlyn did) but they did it more and louder as they heard the cat doing the same thing around us. Sebastian does more of a gurgling coo that sounds like a purr, especially when I give him head scritches.  | |
