Scotty cracked me up this morning!

Those of you on FB have already seen this, but it was pretty hilarious.

Sometimes I wonder about Scotty's past. He often quietly mumbles in his cage when I'm doing stuff around the house in the morning. That's when he exercises all the sayings he learned in his previous life, and often I can't really make them out. Very often they are in what I think of as is "old lady voice" (I may need to revise that to "old man voice", however) which is this kind of gravely slightly New Jersyish cranky voice.

This morning I was in the kitchen when I heard quite distinctly, in that voice, with all appropriate pique, "Now what! Have you got another boyfriend?"

LOL, oh I have tons of stories from the rescue like this. We have a yellow nape that I swear was owned once by a nasty Jewish mother who had a love/hate relationship with her daughter. She yells all day long "Go ahead, do what you want! I clean in here every day and look at this floor! An I told you not to go in the pool and you did anyway...." and on and on, to top it off that she bobs her head and waves her hands just like a Jewish mother would. I keep trying to get it on video but she stops as soon as I pull out my phone to try.

Another of my favorites is a grey we got in a few years ago, very quiet, not a peep from him then one morning we gave him a bowl and food, he shuffled through it, threw most of it out and said "F@ck this! This is crap!!" LOL I will never forget that.
