Merry Christmas Paradise!

Though it has been very quiet here of late, I just wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas!   

I missed having our Secret Santa exchange this year, but I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Holidays!

I was starting to think I was all alone here  

I wish the forum were more active, but I think most folks have moved on....   How is your flock?

The flock is okay, Christmas has been busy so there hasn't been as much out of cage time as they would like, but otherwise okay. Merlin is the same as always, and Arthur is no friendlier.  No worse, but no better either.

How about your little group?

My flock is doing pretty well!  Getting Scooter a new cage is high on the agenda.  Blanco slides down the bars of his flight cage and is constantly breaking his feathers, so to thrill two birds with one stone, I'm going to get Scooter a nice big split level cage and give Blanco Scooter's old cage.

Scooter still has his wierdnesses.  Some days he wants to be handled, but mostly he'd rather do his own thing, although he keeps up a constant banter and his vocabulary has become positvely alarming.   I accidentally taught him to say "Justin Bieber" because one of his "You're a sleepy bird" sayings came out sounding like that and I told him to never say that again, so now he does it to get a rise out of me.

Scotty is still sweet to me, and still occasionally bites Bill.  I thought I was going to have a major issue with him just now -- he got down onto my desk where he's not allowed and he did NOT want to come away from there.  He growled and banged his beak and snapped at me, but then eventually relented and said "Step Up!"  so he got all sorts of praise.  Whew.

Blanco.... aside from looking like a tatttered relic of a bird from the above-mentioned sliding around... is just sweet and easy-peasy.

I'm looking forward to getting chickens this Spring for sure, having been gifted a chicken house!
