I'm actually asking about a zon so I'm looking at you

10 year old bird up for rehoming on Craigslist. Says it talks and gets along with kids. I asked if it was DNA sexed b/c they named the bird Gilbert.

Looking for things to ask about other than the initial to get a feel for the mental welfare of the bird Figured you'd know the kinds of things I'm looking for. From the picture the bird looks fairly healthy.

I regret to inform everyone that the CraigsList guy was a total flake and/or scam. We were all set to jet out to get "Gilbert" and the guy called saying he needed more time and would call us. Nothing. Called...went to voicemail then stopped doing that. Emailed...nothing back.

where is the pic...no matter the name most are not up on the perch position of Zons nor the eating habit

Heart Broken for you they are a best friend that is not afraid to laugh at you and tell you off at the same time. If and when you have a friend like them it lasts forever....
