| My Lefty is an appx. 20-year-old DYH Amazon who has been with me for 2 years. His history is that he was removed by Animal Control from a house used as a puppy mill in WI. He lived with 74 Miniature Pinschers. His cage was 2' deep in waste, and he had been ignored for so long, he had plucked his follicles to death. He has no feathers on his body. His head and wings are full feathered, but his trunk is naked. Makes things easy for his vet exam! His personality totally eclipses his naked-ness. He is a great, sweet bird who is happy to go to whoever wants him to step up. Never bites, so friendly and talkative. He even sings a bit of Beethoven, too! | |

| Sometimes I wonder what kind of monster will let any alive creature to be like that... I'm glad that Lefty was rescued from that horror and found a loving care-taker. I wish you and your  many happy years together. Maybe you can share pictures with us? | |
