WHAT???? Did you say???

I am amazed at the sounds and speech that emit from those not so tiny beaks. I will never understand why they want to talk or want to be with us...but I sure am glad that they do .

So I thought I would share and hope you do too a few of the daily spouts from my flock.

When out of the room Stacie bellows MOM...MOMMMMMM...I keep expecting to feel a tug at my britches leg LOL

Sid and Sidney have their own comedy routine...this is a mother and teen talking and I never fail to laugh
Sid spouts:
"why you want the car?
where ya goin?
when ya comin back
why, where
who's goin?
why
where"
then Sidney pops out with (in a teen voice in mimic mode):
"where ya goin, when ya comin back, where ya goin?"
all followed with WHAT? WHAT? then a bout of laughter

HAHAHA! Those made me laugh too!!

I swear once my Quaker once said "Pop goes the weasel" clear as a bell, but I was in the other part of the house and she hasn't made a peep like it since.

That is SOOO funny and SOOO accurate! I was laughing out loud as I read it!

Aries has a little radio static voice but talks...

When he first gets to his perch in the AM he does his business. We are working on poop training so it's always followed by a "Good bird Aries!" Now, when he goes on his perch he likes to call himself a good bird. He gets SO excited and thinks of himself as a REALLY good bird when he goes ON you. LOL

Yesterday, hubs and I were eating lunch and I was saying something sassy, hubs was in the other room and couldn't hear me so he said, "stop talking to yourself." which made me laugh REALLY hard...I spouted something like ,"well I WAS talking to you...but whatever" at which point Aries started copying my laugh...over and over. Great timing.

He also likes to have a good conversation of "what" and "oh"

wolf whistle What a bird!!!
when I come in from outside she calls loudly HI, Hello and the hello can get insistant if you don't say it back
and loves to say HOW ruuude
and sings:
What's new pussycat
happy birthdy
and does the meow mix song
she spends ages "on the phone" spouting: oh ok, right, uh huh, and a lot of mumble to fill in.
does a perfect cat meow and the Jacks go nuts looking for the cat
and likes to laugh she copies her real mom's laugh and it is very cute.
