Thanks! I'm lucky, I inherited good jeans! (LOL! genes-jeans, what's the difference?)
And my standard lines are:
1) The fat fills in all the wrinkles.
2) A good photographer and long hair hides a multitude of chins!

That is me in my avatar. I'm fat, frumpy, and normally have bird poop or kid boogers somewhere on my person.

^BAHAHA Where am I not fat I'm not one of those women fishing for "OMG your not fat!" but no, really, I am a beached whale. I eat my feelings and I have a lot of them. I am learning to stop beating myself over it though. I can say "yes, I'm fat" without feeling all desperate and wonky about it. Just facts folks.

That is me in my avatar about 5 years ago and something like 10 rounds of prednisone ago. Kind of gave up when the blindness gor soo bad but Florida and room to garden is close at hand.

That avatar pic is a fairly recent pic. I like to think I look like this:


The camera tries to tell me I look more like a constipated buddah.... but it lies, really it does!

When I was little, my mom used to always feed me when I was upset. Now it's a really bad habit.

Bet I'm fatter than you are! Nah-nah-nah-nah-nah! I was worried about getting a chin-up bar, I was afraid I'd break the door! But I found out they go to 300lbs, so I'm not QUITE there yet! LOL. I was at a pretty healthy weight until I turned 45ish, then I broke my foot and was hobbling around for a year with it undiagnosed, and the pounds started piling on and never stopped. The really weird thing is that when I was 20, 5'7" and 126lbs, my self image was fat. Now that I'm technically obese, my self-image is mildly plump. If I'd enjoyed it when I had it, I wonder if anything would have been different. I have a friend who is as heavy as I am who refers to herself as a "normal sized person", and while I'm not into beating myself up, I'm also not that comfortable with my weight, it does get in the way of doing stuff. And I wish they'd quit making airline seats narrower and narrower!
