I just heard about that today, I'm so bummed that we don't get to see it!!!! The one that we had maybe two or three years ago was the first one I'd ever seen. SO so cool.

Once, I was looking out the window, and the moon slowly disappeared, then reappeared. I started flipping out, then someone told me it was just a cloud RogerP

I think it would be nice to see a REAL one.

Nah.I couldn't see it either. Waaaayyy too far north.

Was it really only in the southern hemisphere?

LOL, too cloudy here! They are pretty cool.

I was lucky enough to be able to view a total solar eclipse when I was still an undergrad. Being physics geeks, we had all kinds of fun observation things set up, and we videotaped the whole thing. What we didn't realize until we played the tape back was the rooster a couple of houses away was totally blowing a gasket!
