Dusty, I will either get an Eclectus or an African Grey in a couple of years. I am fearful of how phobic people make Congos out to be, but I'm hoping that isn't always the case. Any input?

I think socializing is key. If you introduce an african grey to new thing everyday, I feel like it wouldnt grow up to be a phobic bird?

I feel the same way but then again its not really any different than chimpanzees killing monkeys and eating them.

Chickens eat chickens. . . without human assistance.

Yeah, sometimes they peck each other to death and eat the dead. Or just peck pieces off each other and eat it. That's why commercially chickens have the tips of their beaks snipped off.

We have piggies too, altho they're well trained piggies. They know they're not allowed to step on our plates, they can only sit beside the plate and eat as far as they can reach which means we can push anything they shouldn't eat away from them. Prince is the exception to this rule, he dive bomb the marge, the bubble in the sink, your plate, funniest little thing.
