GCC earrings

Subject: GCC earrings Mon Jul 04, 2011 11:14 pm

I got into my studio for a little bit this afternoon and came out with a prototype for GCC earrings. They are crude and the concept needs some work, but I think they have promise. What do you think?

I think I have a picture of me sporting a GCC earring (named JJ) somewhere with that exact caption! When I saw your post, I thought someone had reposted it here! LOL!

I really like the earrings, I like them a lot. The only reason they don't "light my fire" is that when I think of a GCC, I think of it hanging upside down, or looking at me with that GCC head cock... you know the one! I just don't see them standing pretty like that unless it's for a millisecond as they're in motion on their way to get into more trouble.

Yeah! A GCC hanging by one foot as its head is cocked looking at the person wearing it. That would be too cute!

Roz, I like that idea. A bit harder to implement, but I like a challenge! And it would be unique. I've seen "parrot earrings" a bit similar to what I turned out. OTOH, I've never even sketched a bird before, so I am encouraged. Horses I can do standing on my head, this is much more of a stretch.
