I'm curious how is your birds relationship with another home pets you take care...

I used to have a bunny, and birds completely ignored him, so did the bunny Wink

My boyfriend is coming with his dog and budgies immediately start singing, but they don't bother dog. Chico (cockatiel) is still very young, so she try to chase dog, pull her hair and nails. We watch closely what is dog reaction. It's an old dog. She completely ignore Chico and rather back up like her instinct knowing Chico is still baby. Dog doesn't show any sign of aggression, only she is coming for more attention, she is simply jealous!

My cats aren't predatory towards pet birds; if a bird jumps off its playstand our cats will just watch it walk around. It's nice that they leave our birds alone because they are predatory towards wild birds.

Ginger, my chihuahua, doesn't like birds; most of the time a bird will walk up to her to nibble on her fur and she'll move away - I usually don't let birds get near her because I don't trust that she won't attack it if it bites her.

My birds - Sam doesn't care for other animals and will usually avoid them if he's near one; Ducky's usually curious and will try to nibble on the cats or dog and will try to chase the other animals around. He's a little troublemaker.

I have 3 cats along with our 5 birds and they cohabitate quite peacefully. Max, our 3 yr old little angora lion is the most curious and will sleep on top of my jardines cage. Merlyn, Bryan's Catalina macaw, is in love with Aeowyn, our 7 yr old tuxedo cat. He will cuddle up to her, preen her and try to feed her (much to her chagrin). Generally the cats are just curious, but don't bother. I don't think they see them as birds but as otehr members of the family because the do react to wild birds.

My family used to have a chow chow that would nurse my cats kittens. So funny.

So long as they don't maim or kill each other, I'm happy.
