If I have pizza that I want the birds to be able to have, I actually make my own. I make a whole wheat pizza crust with whole wheat flour, all purpose flour, salt, sugar (to activate the yeast), olive oil and water. I tend to spice the basic dough recipe up by chopping up fresh herbs like oregano or parsley.

Once the dough is made, I usually cover it with a teaspoon of olive oil and top it with sliced tomatoes, mozzerella cheese and basil. Bake it at 475 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes until crust is golden brown, and we've got a pizza!

The birds love the warm tomatoes and the crust. They're not really interested in the cheese or the basil, but that just means more for me.

The bird pizza recipe that I have, which isn't really pizza but they love it anyway:

Get a rice cake of any flavor, use as the pizza crust. Slather it with peanut butter (birds love chunky) as the sauce and sprinkle with stuff... chopped nuts, shredded veg, bits and piece of meat or egg...whatever. And then let them go to town.
