I'd forgotten how babies have to learn how much is too much beak! I was giving little Nibblet kisses this evening and s/he decided to kiss (?) me back... Across the bridge of my nose!!!!

O. M. G. I don't know that I've EVER been as thankful as I was right then that I "only" had a little Greencheek! I've been bitten and bloodied by some of the best, but that almost made me lose my dinner. (mental note: keep bird away from face for a while longer..)

Uh oh! Those little GCC beaks can be pretty painful, actually! Especially when applied to a lip or nose...

Rory once 'kissed' me on the underside of the nose, the little bit between your nostrils, now THAT hurts!

Wait until your nose gets kissed by a macaw and THEN tell me how you feel, LOL

No pissing contest, they've all seen my wounds, LOL And actually you haven't felt anything until you get bit by a Hyacinth, playful or not. Its only happened once to me and I swear it fractured my finger. Probably good that it did because they could snap a wrist like a twig.

I'm sure my allotment of scars would win by default, not that I want to win this contest either. Occupational hazard, hard to avoid in my case. Smile

Likewise!

Fortunately, I didn't get bit, it was just a little baby trying her beak on for size... On my nose. It's part of having a baby Smile
