| It's a pretty good article. I could pick a couple of nits... Reward training relies on cause and effect just as much as punishment does, for example. But overall some interesting things to think about. | |

| Agree w/ SnS. I like the article for the most part. Don't agree about human parenting techniques don't work. Keep in mind, a lot of humans don't properly parent their children. For me, though, treating birds like I treated EC when she was 2 (basically - no impulse control, purely emotional, limited intelligence, able to learn limited/simple lessons, a lot of environmental manipulation) works for me.
Also liked that he had lots of links. | |
