Posting photos from the gallery?

I followed the excellent instructions on the FAQ, but the photo comes out way too big. What is the secret to having a size that is appropriate for a posting?

I really want to do a memorial for my love bird, but I have to have the photos.

try opening your pic in the "paint" program on your computer. There should either be a button or an option in one of the menus to "resize". Play with the resize feature and then try reposting in the gallery.
