I finally got to my laptop and can post pictures!

And we've changed the name of little Loki. Shes now Shori.

Haha well now I know what she is. Im still learning the color mutations in birds theyre quite extensive compaires to other creatures ive owned and worked with.

My little demon bird is scared of the camera. Everytime the flash goes off she jumps and flaps her wings. I think he soul is being sucked out of her with every photograph hence the red eyes

I have the opposite problem. Whenever he see's the camera, he needs to start attacking and preening it. Impossible to get a shot or video of him doing something funny or cute.

I havent attempted video yet but my baby's personality hasnt exactly started to shine through. Shes very mellow and doesnt play much. If she does play its usually just pulling on her toys and watching them swing around. I try to play with her and she will play back but on a very tame scale. Pretty much the only cute thing she does right now is give kisses. She loves to leave baby slime on my mouth and ears.

The little girls are very chill. Your baby sounds like how my first two tiel hens were like.

As for the eating - try sprouting bird seed. You can sprout millet too. There's a sticky on sprouting in the food section. Also try running fresh foods through the food processor and sprinkle lightly over the seed they eat. They have to pick through the yucky stuff to get to the seed and start getting a taste of the good stuff.

When I first got Einstein, all he did was sit on his perch. The only thing he did was come to me when called. After a couple of months his personality really started to come out.

He started playing with his toys. He would start making contact calls when I left, and that led to him to start singing to himself. Then in no time he was memorizing songs, and now he's a pretty good talker.

You'll be missing that quiet little angel in no time

Chico was hatched at the beginning of this February.
When I took her home at 7 weeks, she was shy couple of days, but whistling immediately from the first day. I guess every bird is different.
Now she's making contact calls, and long WEEEEE calls for good morning and when she is searching for me.

Shori is comin up on the 3 month mark. Right now she makes the patented cockatiel chirp and a little squeaking noise that she makes when she's unsure of her surrounding and when she's annoyed. I know shell make more vocalizations as she gets older so right now I'm just glad she's a quiet girl.
