I'm Alyssa, and I'm owned by a cockatiel named Einstien, Bonnie and Clyde the budgies, Stewie the shih tzu, and Pascal, Eugene, and Maximus the cows.

I don't have a problem with his views or his forum in general, but I really don't like when people are called stupid and lazy because they don't do the things he does.

Meh. I'll say it. He is an ass with a penis envy problem. He is rude and ignorant.

I really don't have a problem with his successes or methods either. It's his choice how he wants to manage his birds and the relationship he has with them.

I just really, really didn't like that he was authoritatively telling people that free feeding causes behavioral problems. That's just outright false. And I truly fear some people would take that the wrong way and reduce food until the behaviors they don't like are gone. We all know the "problems" some people perceive aren't problems, but just the way birds are. Can you just imagine someone reducing food until the bird no longer vocalized a.m./p.m.?

Hey - what about entranced? Did she get an invite? I'm surprised she wasn't one of the first to follow suit.

I asked her. She PM'd me what the heck happened. She hadn't logged in for a few days so she was out of the fun happenings. She said she'd check it out.

I sent her an invite, but I'm not sure if it went through. I hope she does come on over.
