| yes...I know the net but I wanted some real advise. I was told that giving the QP's some frest branches would help in their breeding as they will strip it and use it in their nest box....what the person never said was the type of branches...oak hickory and the like all have a coarse bark that is not going to strip very well any suggestions??? | |

| Ancient Chinese Wisdom Say: Do not picnic in state park with hacksaw to harvest manzanita. . . but if you do, hide manzanita under blanket. | |

I am truly a rock hound and my buckets(lots of 5 gal buckets) didn't make the first run but will most certainly make the second and I absolutely refuse to incriminate myself

| So does Richard have to bring you back buckets of desert whenever he's in AZ? Aren't the desert areas the best places for rock hounding? We tried once. Fun to do, but no idea what we're looking at! | |

| YES the desert is the best and west Tx too we collect fire aggate and have a bunch as well as sand stone and geodes I come by this quirk naturally as my Grandfather was a Rock Mason and a collector as well I spent ages peruising his collection as well I collect artifacts and Tx in the Hill Country they are almost common (arrowheads and such) as to what I do I have used many in aquariums and the rest I want to tumble and see what is the outcome. | |

no citrus?? I suggested that because it's so common where I'm at. I dunno about wax myrtle, never heard of it! on this site it says myrtle isn't a safe wood to use for parrots, does that include wax myrtle? I also use acacia branches if you have those around
