| Yeah, but Richard and his boat are in Florida! LOL! Besides, those West Coast people should get a vacation out of it, right? | |

For me, its fire. I don't mind fires in the least, but when I think of ways I do NOT want to die, it's burning. Maybe I was one of those women burned in the witch trials in Salem in my previous life? LOL! I'm also unreasonably scared of flying and heights. I don't even want to talk about how I feel getting on a plane, and any place with any kind of a sheer vertical drop? Ugghhh.... That's a whole 'nother conversation! LOL!
I love flying. I'm completely fine on planes, except when they're going over large bodies of water. What no ones tells you when you're flying from San Diego is that all planes, no matter their destination, have to go out over the Pacific. Once we took off, I was looking out the window and all I saw was this huge expanse of open water until we turned around. Then we turned and hit some turbulance. I thought I was going to die right there, I was so nervous. All I kept thinking was "great, the plane is going to crash into the ocean and I'm going to be eaten by a giant squid." Even going across the Mississippi made me nervous.

hahaha. I'll be one of those west coast people soon enough! Besides, I don't think I could talk my boyfriend into us coming if it wasn't on the west coast. But hey, whatever you guys want to do is cool.

Cute story, when my oldest son was about 4 i took him commercial net fishing with me,I was in the bow pulling net ,throwing fish in the back of the boat where he was playing with them. When i got to the end of a very long set of nets i turned around to find he'd thrown all the fish overboard, couple of hundred dollars worth.Hard to find good help.

Hmmm.... I grew up in Clearwater! I vote for Dunedain or Clearwater Beach. Heh. Haven't been back since we finished clearing out my father's house a few years ago. It has a lot more appeal now than it did as a teenager longing to be somewhere else.

How 'bout this... y'all get as far as Colorado, and we'll make it the rest of the way together! Everything's more fun when you do it with someone else, and it wouldn't be Paradise without you Kaela! LOL! Maybe we'll just have to charter a plane to fly through the country and pick all of us up... start in LA, stop in CO, Chicago, then on to FL. How fun would THAT be? LOLOL! I'm thinking we'd better start fundraising in earnest if THAT's the plan! ( Actually, there's a train that makes that trip. Cal and I have discussed taking it.... hmmm, something to think about.)

No passport? Anyway, I'm not big on the idea of cross country trips. Moving out there will be adventure enough. As much as I like to fly, cross country trips aren't my thing. I have a hard time sitting that long, and I'd hate to fly with birds.

| Here's what we do: We get that Hyacinth pair to one of our breeders. They raise a clutch and train them to carry a big wicker basket. We all get flown across country in that.
OK, OK, maybe even Hyacinths aren't QUITE that big, but it was a thought....
