Chicago Craiglist
Quote :
Lilac Crowned Amazon----age unknown----sex, unknown----has never spoken----in full feather----no cage----cage aggressive----likes to sit on top of cage or on perch----once away from cage will step up and will sit on shoulder----seed and pellet diet with some fresh veggies (not big on fruit) and nuts----has only bitten when trimming nails or wings----does scream at times like all amazons but not too badly----$100 firm----photo is not of actual bird but it looks exactly like it

I would have to say that doesn't look like a Lilac Crowned. Looks like a Red Lored to me. thinking

This was my thought. Sounds like another one of those "we just moved to juneau, but we'll send her to you..." type deals, but usually they don't admit to any flaws like screaming, biting, and cage aggression. Maybe they're just getting smarter... suspect

$100 for an Amazon? If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is...

Neighbor down the street tried to sell me his, including a cockatiel sized cage, for $1000. The bird is an adult bird. When I sad I have no interest in Amazons, he knocked it down to $300 for just the bird. Like I would have an interest in the bird with no cage.
