Bedtime chat with Allie- video, kinda :)

This is a video of Allie and me having our bedtime chat. Only problem is that since its at bedtime, well, it's dark, so you can't really see anything. I tried having the bedtime chat with the lights on last night so I could get a picture of it, but she wasn't interested in talking that way. So this is pretty much just audio. . Sorry, it's the best I can do!

Keep in mind at the end of the video that after I say I'm covering her up, I stay right by her cage until I end the recording. That's how fast she gets quiet when I cover her. Also, this is the only noise she makes all day (except when she does her baby begging pips, I still hear that).

That's so sweet. She's definitely a chatty one.

I don't think Allie was ready for bed yet, she was ready to chat with mom awhile longer. Too cute.

thanks! She's like that EVERY night. She gabbs right up till the minute I cover her cage, then she zonks out. I'm biased, totally and completely, but I think it's the cutest thing ever!

Sometimes when I put Scooter to bed he keeps faintly calling at me until I get the door all the way closed. THen all goes silent. In my mind he's going, "But I'm not sleepy! I'm not sleepy! I'm not, I'm not.... zzzzzzz............"

I just found this video and listened to it again! I can't believe how much our bedtimes have changed, but how much they haven't at the same time! Our bedtime routine is very much the same, but now we include Mickey in it and Allie is actually speaking words. (Does everyone remember how I was always asking about when their GCC started talking and what words they said? LOL!) I'm thinking it's time for another bedtime video...

We'd love to hear more from Allie.
