| He's done it three or four times now, so I think it's not just a coincidence. It never ceases to amaze me how smart something with a head the size of a rather stunted walnut walnut can be. Usually when the birds are out on their playtops, I tell them a few minutes before it's time to go back in the cages "Get ready to be house-birds, it's house-birdie time!". OK, I'm very very silly. But recently Scooter has taken to putting himself away when I do this!
Scotty doesn't, unless he happens to feel like it. But then, when he DOES feel like going home, he closes the door behind himself! | |

| Bonnie and Clyde know "Cage". As soon as I say it, they happily fly into their cages. As for Madoc and Einstein, that's a different story... | |

| All of my birds understand: Go to your cage(which meant your room and now your aviary, whatever). Some of them obey, some don't. But non of my birds closes the door behind himself like your Scotty | |

| Awww! What a good bird! None of my birds have any idea what any of that means. They ride the short bus to birdie school. | |
