updates

so my new gcc was accidently named scooter. whoops. He was scooting around the cage while I was gone and when I came home my mom said we should name him scooter. since I hadn't come up with a better name, scooter just kinda stuck.

I'm begining to think I'm the only one who likes scooter in this household though rainbow and scooter are definitely not liking eachother (so much for that plan!) and scooter and my dad are not friends at all. My mom doesn't want to handle scooter since he bit my dad a couple times. So... I dunno. I really like this bird. He hasn't bitten me since the first day we brought him home, in fact it seems like he just won't bite me no matter what I do or how pushy I am but it's a gamble for everybody else. I can have him and rainbow out together, rainbow on my shoulder and scooter on my knee, and they will be fine. It's just when they can reach eachother when they stop ignoring the other's existence and want to duke it out... despite all of the problems it's really fun having multiple birds. Any tips on getting birds to tolerate eachother? I'm fine with them as is but it'd be nice if they could share a playstand one day

How do we distinguish the two GCC Scooters, like Cat in the Hat, Scooter 1 and Scooter 2?

Our Scooter was accidentally named too. But since he calls himself Pretty Scoo-scoo, it is definitely too late to rename him.

Too funny! When do we get to see a picture?

I think scoot is more inclined to talk than rainbow, today my parents were laughing and he laughed along with them. it was hilarious! he also says something along the lines of pretty bird when I'm talking to him. His previous owners told me he was potty trained but no luck with that so far.

oh he's got personality alright! After he's done something naughty he rubs his foot on his beak (that's what his previous owners said and it seems to hold true) it's kinda like he's saying sorry, very cute He's also very good at giving himself head massages by slowly rubbing his foot through his feathers.

gcc are awesome! I love 'em (and conures in general. I really can't get enough of the mischief makers, they keep life exciting.)
