OKAY. So it's almost 11 and I have to work tomorrow, but stopping in this afternoon made me miss you guys and want to catch you up on how the monster is doing Smile BASICALLY, we ended up dragging him with us on over 40 hours worth of car rides between Christmas in PA and New Years in Florida. He behaved splendidly and came with us pretty much everywhere. We've taken him with us to friend's houses and to our Wednesday night youth groups at church, so if this bird isn't well on his way to being desensitized between barking dogs and crazy weather and screaming teenagers well then I'm plum outta ideas on how to do it.

No words yet, but he's making awfully people-ish sounds when he does his nightly chatter to himself, and occasionally will go "wwwaaaa!!" when he yawns. WayConfused

I've tried really hard keeping up with you guys and the goings on around here, I promise I'll do better Smile In the meantime... here's pictures!!

Yoshi is so handsome - I LOVE the Male Eclectus (the females, not so much - they were always lunging during handfeedings even at 2-3 months old, the males were total opposite angels!)!

Glad he's doing well with trips - socialization is so important, and if those around you support it, you will both reap the rewards years down the line Smile

Thanks guys!! Yeah, he's been pretty great Smile Our youth group has decided to make him their mascot and one girl is petitioning for Yoshi Tshirts Razz

And yes, he's a goofball in the shower. He looks like a vulture!!
