| Precious!! I think the maroon tail color in a normal GCC is so much prettier than JJ's is. (It's a grey'ish-brown with an occasional streak of red and green. Very odd, very odd.)
How much does he weigh? For some reason, he looks a lot bigger than JJ. | |

| Thanks everybody, I guess I was in a silly mood! - Julsiebean wrote:

The webcam seems to lack something in color fidelity. There is actually some gold/yellow tone on Scooter's chest as well, but it definitely isn't apparent in the photos. - VickiNumbers wrote:

| At 68 grams, he's about 10 grams heavier than JJ, so it would make sense that he looks a bit bigger. And if you have small hands, that's an equalizer for us. I remember when I was a child learning all I could about horses, reading somewhere that horses were measured in hands, with a hand being 4". This measurement came about because 4" was the width of a hand (according to my 35 year-old memory of what I read and my childhood understanding of the information). I recall measuring my hand multiple times and NEVER coming CLOSE to 4"!!! My hand still wouldn't come close to 4", but I have a better understanding of the measurement! LOL! When my son was 11, his hand outgrew mine. The one pair of gloves I have that fit me is a pair of lambskin riding gloves I had made for me about 25 years ago. The only other gloves I can find that fit are the stretchy kind that look like they're made for a six-year-old and would stretch to fit King-Kong. Thats why most of the time I just wear kid's mittens. They're warmer and fit better. | |

| Stopped at a pet store today and played with a GCC ,he was very cool but tiny, there was him and 2 Suns and some tiels in a playpen, tiels could care less but the GCC had to battle the larger suns to get to your hand, he could hold his own though.Scooter looks about 3x his size.Great pics Deb. | |
