I was working hard during weekend and didn't slept much, so I thought today I have a chance. There was no chance! Loud kind of crying mixture with barking mixture with Chico's WEEEE woke me up

Speaking about Chico:

But all birds last evening gone to their own cages as soon as I said, that there was a good night time!

Just a moment ago my boyfriend stooped here on his way to work. And I have no doubts now. Lucky prefers men and he IS my boyfriend's bird. My bf just came, put his arm, said "Step up" and Lucky was like high trained dog go on his arm without even wondering. When I came very close to them, Lucky first gave me a loud warning, and when I didn't care, he bite me!
I'm laughing, because I was the one Amazon crazy wanted, and my boyfriend was: no, too big, etc. and now Lucky choses him.
OK, from what I understand after reading about 'zons, Lucky is really not aggressive, but he just protected his owner: my boyfriend. When I go and slowly approach Lucky to change the water or give him peanut, he is OK- not aggressive, but he doesn't go on my arm.
Also the melody he was singing to my boyfriend was like quiet, pleasant grrr and his feets was relaxed on my bf's arm. Lucky also performed some kind of dance, which I don't know how to interpreted: happy or hormonal, but probably first one. He was shaking his head and singing that nice melody to my bf.
So now I told my bf: "You have your pitbull. I love him, I will take care of him, but I know he is your bird and can do nothing about that. He is 'zon!". Can you imagine how "Lucky" I am
Life is really funny sometimes, my bf didn't wanted Amazon and ironical bird told him that he is the one
I was obsessed with Amazon, Lucky tolerates me, but back off women, it's not you
I don't know if I should laugh or cry, but it's really funny

And now I understand why women showed me Lucky and men came on the end only. If he would come at the beginning, Lucky might step up on him and she was claiming all the time, that he is shy. I have to give credit for that people, they tricked me good LOL! Only one thing I'm glad, they didn't lay, he is not really aggressive.

Lucky is flighted and he can fly small distances. So far he ignores small birds, but I do realize that he will be jealous if my bf will pet them. I know that he might attack birds then.
O crap, I have to make appointment with vet to check on him and also I seriously forgot to move the cage, before Lucky came, so I sucked on quarantine

I Love my boyfriend's Amazon!

I'll bet Lucky will warm up to you ,it takes some time.I'm Jake's favorite but Josie can do anything with her when i'm not around.Your just #2 on the favorites list. I'll bet if you start singing to her and talking sweet she'll warm right up, oh! and don't try to pet her, make her beg for it.

I'm not up on my WFA like other zons but i think they might be one of the few that you can sex my sight. I'll have to check and see, i only called it a her because that what i thought ,but i'm usually wrong and Josie is usually right.

My bf was calling from work to ask how is his bird doing
And he was already flying to kitchen and check the sink and back to his room. They kept him in the kitchen, maybe that's why...

Little update: I have read that red feathers on shoulders in WFA = male, so Lucky is probably male. And today I was trying to spoil all of them with veggies and fruits, but for Lucky I gave it from my hand. He finally step up for me and stay on my hand for not longer that a minute. For me, it's a huge progress, considering it's his 3rd day with me
And he did that pleasant noise for me to today

Cute! Hopefully he'll learn to be a bird for both of you, and not just your boyfriend!

Yes, he screamed. It is loud, comparing to small ones I have. It was loud enough to wake me up, and that's hard to do with me.
His scream wasn't that(forgive my ESL) earpersing as Lovie or Conure. It was rather like mixture of dog howling and barking. So far it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be
And he is often repeating Chico's Wee after her

It's hard for me to interpret completely new bird reactions but it looks, that he is crazy about Chico. Budgies he completely ignore and Chico, hm... I may be mistaken, but for me it looks like he want to play with her. Chico is drama queen, so she want to be in the center of attention, she is a bit jealous, but OK. I have to give her enough attention too.

Even I stop believing that he's re-homed. Those people cared about him, and probably she got pissed, when Lucky didn't want to be "her pet". Lucky for me!
