Beats the heck out of me. I never figured it out with mine. Now I do have a few thoughts, but have not tried them out. What's her clip like right now? Are the primaries clipped straight down to the coverts. See how it goes. If she's prone to breaking them, you can try clipping the new flights only slightly and not down to the coverts so they can be longer and support the new flights coming in; each successive molt and clip they'd get longer and longer until they're full flights. Might take you several molts to grow her flights in. Or she might not be prone to breaking them and she'll be flighted right away. You'll have to wait and see how she is. My grey didn't break hers out of clumsiness. We were both very active, out and about, so a single long flight easily got broken. Kinda like you can't have nice, long, manicured nails if you're a very active person.

Haha I will eventually. But I dont really feel comfortable there. Some of the people are just plain rude and act like they know everything and everyone else who owns a bird is satanic. Like when I updated that I was getting Zada! I got called so many rude names! I know not everyone is but.. yeah

| You can- there is a grate underneath the playpen if you look closely. It looks a lil' small though to be honest... I'd go for wider.. | |

| Those cages look great.
I don't know about everyone else's grey, but mine was a lot more confident/secure in a "small" cage. The ones she seemed most happy in were no larger than 36". She'd be very active all over a cage that size, play with her toys and basically use every inch. I put her in a 6' flight I had around thinking she'd love more space, but she didn't really move around much in something that large and didn't seem to ever relax. I could also tell by where her poo accumulated that she was really only moving around about an 18" area. She also had a tendency to dig in the corners of the smaller cages which made me think she wanted more space, but it turns out digging is just something greys do. She was out every day for hours on end so I wasn't too concerned about keeping her in a small cage when she was caged. She was also comfortable out on play pens. So a small "room" was ok for her.
On that first A&E cage - double check the doors and see if they can be padlocked. I think someone else had a cage with "parrot proof" doors like that and you can't padlock them. "Parrot proof" isn't. One of the bird stores in my area started using the "parrot proof" door cages and birds still figure them out. Some of the doors the birds just broke so the store replaced the doors with regular old cage doors with padlocks. My grey could open her cage, but so long as she was getting enough out time and her mental needs were met, she didn't open the cage and let herself out. If she was letting herself out I knew she was in need of mental stimulation.

Probably won't have any problems growing those in on the next molt. She can probably get pretty good air right now. She just needs to flap harder.
