| Zada has been going through her first molt, and its been pretty difficult for her. Today I saw her holding a big feather and chewing on it. And I dont know if she pulled it out or if it fell out. I dont know if its normal for her to be chewing on a feather that fell out or if she actually is plucking? | |

| CB chews on and preens with feathers that he's molted out. | |

| Our macaws do that as well. Sebastian will occasionally use a molted feather to scratch himself with too. Not to worry. Glad to hear you are both well | |
