You can adopt a beautiful little Neophema and help save a species!

Hi Guys:

With our fun discussion on Neophema parrots I wanted to fill you in a bit on one of my favorites. The Orange-bellied Parrot. Due to habitat loss and a number of factors this beautiful little bird will be extinct in the wild soon! I know its hard to imagine but sadly its true.

I have no connections to any of the conservation agencies in Australia. I only think this is a gorgeous little bird and thought perhaps we could help!

So can I make a suggestion? Rather than purchasing a neophema how about adopting one instead and help the species! You can do so here and it costs no more per month than a bit of bird food you might purchase:
