| The tube feeding is standard procedure. Basically pushing food through her system to get her intestines moving. Once they see everything coming out ok, they'll release her. | |

| They won't give her back to you if she's not eating on her own, and if she wasn't, that would be a sign of something wrong anyway and they'd want to keep her. If she's coming home Thursday, they'll probably wean her tomorrow to make sure she's good. | |

| not coming home thursday still cant get her to eat. i feel bad.. she was eating when she was at her old house do you think its because shes home sick/stressed. not all the blood tests were in today so hopefully theyll have some answers soon.. i just feel like this is my fault shes sick  | |

| Don't take it personally. You can't control her stress any more than she can. Just know that the vet is doing what she can and hopefully all will be wells soon. | |

| I agree with Vikki. This isn't something you have any control over. Whether it's illness or stress, it is what it is. And just like we've told Roger (and Roz has told US), birds are crazy on good days. In other words - there's just NO way for us "regular folks" to figure out what's going on in their heads. We just have to do the best we can with what we've got (even if it is a pitifully small amount in my case!). So hang in there. Mikko will be FINE, and before you know it will be back at home with you driving you nuts - exactly as she should be!  | |

| Your worry is understandable, but know that we've all gone through things like this and like Vicki# said, we deal with it all as we can with what we have. We're here for support if you're feeling down about it but I am sure she will be abck home soon | |

| We all worry, and it is easy to feel guilty even when it's not our fault. Sometimes I think feeling guilty lets us imagine we had control over the situation. Even if the stress did trigger this, it's not something you should feel guilty about. You've done everything right. But waiting around is difficult... I'll be thinking about you and Mikko. | |
