You can tell Capt and I are parents. I had the same thought! Whatever! I'm a parent and my thought line was, "There's the 'tiel! She needs to open the blinds and let some light into that room, it's really dark. It'd be easier to find the bird if there was some light in the room. Those are really cute Christmas lights! What a cute idea to decorate the inside like that! Oh. I bet that's why the room is dark. I'd never be able to take a picture of MY room and post it on here unless it was completely dark ... then what's the point of taking the picture?" Then I scrolled down and saw this: - patdbunny wrote:

You can tell Capt and I are parents. I had the same thought! Vicki, your response was just WIN. Full of WIN. I'm really glad you thought so! This was the first opportunity I've ever had to welcome y'all to my brain! LOL! I'm so ADD it's not even funny! That's me ~ all day, every day. It's probably why I'm a conure person... because I have the same attention span they do - I understand them. Seriously though, it's totally common for a person with ADD to work their ass off for eleven hours and not accomplish anything. It's because they start one thing, which leads them to another, which leads them to another, which leads them to another, etc., until they've touched 13,000 different things and not finished any of them. And it's not for a lack of effort, will power, or desire either! But just like what I wrote above - that's just the way their mind works.... one things leads to another and nothing gets done. It's very sad. LOL!

ADD sounds like me when I'm cleaning my room. I pick stuff up to put it away and get sidetracked reminiscing or playing with it or showing it to someone. I have to set aside an entire day to clean my room just because I know I'll waste half the time on the random things I find like silly putty and picture frames. EDIT - And I agree with GO. That response was totally full of epic win.

I swear to ___________(insert Higher Power here) VickiNumbers and I were siamese twins separated at birth!! I'm contemplating getting medically checked out and seeing if I'm ADD. If Numbers is, I must be.
