Back to the Apple and Spice discussion, I also believe that for optimum birdie happiness, you need a flock-like mentality with other birds.
Though Einstein is alone in his cage, I take comfort in knowing that not even a meter away, he has three other birds to keep him company. | |

| OK, FINE!!! I'll admit it! I've huffed in the past! I HUFFED JJ!!!  She had a scent that was distinctive, but I don't really even remember what it is any more. Thinking about it makes me sad. The morning she died, I laid in bed with her for 2-3 hours with her up by my face trying to memorize her smell and I've forgotten it.  Now, I stick Allie up under my nose and sniff, trying to find something - anything - and she doesn't really have a scent. Typically all I get is a nose full of feathers. I've never huffed Sam, I'm scared to get him that close to my face. I've gotten a whiff of Caesar - she smells... musky. It's never given me the desire for more. So I just gave up. (Now I'm sobbing, maybe I wont be going out to dinner tonight after all.) | |
